Moving stuff around getting ready for more shoes
This week we’re expecting new shoe arrivals from Rachel Comey. Her boots are uh-may-zing. So to prepare for their arrival, we rearranged the store a little creating a shoe area.
Since we moved the mid century modern dresser to the front of the store, we moved the old counter to the back, and on top are our statement jewelry from Twinkle by Wenlan, Karen Walker, J.Fein Designs and French Kande.
The last pic shows where we put the clothes rack after we took it down. The full-length mirror is now in the fitting room. The store feels warmer and more welcoming. Stop by this weekend to see the new Rachel Comey boots!

Shoe makeover for Spring
Shoes make the outfit. There’s a whole lot of truth to that old saying. So I’m thinking instead of overhauling your entire Spring wardrobe, overhaul your shoes for the season. I have plans for at least two new pairs that will take me through Summer.
The first pair will be a new pair of black flats, as my current ones have holes through the leather. The second pair will be flat sandals – all leather, preferably in black too. So, with these new shoes I can transform a my Spring dresses from last year into fresh new outfits. Also, it’s always thrilling to put on brand new shoes with my old jeans.

Another shoe conversation
Yes, that’s right. This is a shoe. It was sent over to us last night, and we’re pretty amazed. We think this is a stunning example of design over function. Read more.

Shoe wardrobe
We’re completely inspired by this street style photo. For Fall we vow to wear only black high heeled shoes. It’s going to be a challenge being on our feet for most of the day, but what an effect. Heels with blue jeans, black jeans, dresses, skirts and even black tights — if you’re going to buy one pair of shoes for Fall, consider black heels!

Fall shoes – the clog
Felicia here. I just ordered these shoes for Fall and can’t wait to get them. Imagine wearing them with skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans or your Fall skirts. I’m waiting to wear them with a floral Anna Sui dress, leather bomber jacket and black tights, but when they arrive in 2 days time I’ll be wearing them with my Wren navy shorts, distressed Ksubi jeans or Steven Alan sundress dress. Have a great Tuesday!
